I’m a Dutch webdeveloper with over 6  years of experience in the internet business. Gradually building my knowledge and expertise by specializing in developing PHP in high-availability solutions for domestic and international companies. Besides that I am an active member of the Open Source community by being a module developer for Phorum 5.

Because of my work at Sanoma Digital (formerly: Ilse Media) I learned a lot about high-availability. Specifically Apache optimization and distributed networking as used by Startpagina.nl. For the Prikborden (Forums) we use at Startpagina.nl I also implemented the Lucene SolR search server.
